Focus just on production. SENTINELLA® is a fire protection system born, developed and tested for machine tools that fully meets the most restrictive safety standards required by the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

European regulations require that machine tools that work in contact with whole oil or that perform dangerous work are protected against fire; the main causes of fire in these machines are the generation of sparks and incandescent particles following an error in the normal manufacturing process.

Our intelligent protection system uses CO2 gas as extinguishing agent; this guarantees, following a fire, the complete recovery of the machinery and processing oil since carbon dioxide extinguishes fire very quickly, does not alter, does not corrode and does not damage the material it comes into contact with at all, and it is highly dielectric. Sentinella lets you keep the machine under control from the risk of fire, monitoring it automatically 24/7.

In specific cases of alkaline metal processing (magnesium, titanium, cobalt-chrome, etc.), it is necessary to choose a different extinguishing solution (inert gases or chemical extinguishing agents).
